As ESPN's Chris Haynes reported, James would consider meeting with the Warriors in the offseason if they were able to create a max salary slot and opinions have been swirling on the net. Kevin Durant made sure to say this isn't strange to the game with,

“In this league, just like a few years ago with me coming here, nobody would have thought that,” Durant said. “There’s part of me as a basketball player where it’s like, ‘Let’s just worry about basketball.’ But the other side, we know it’s a business as well and a lot of crazy things have happened since I’ve been in the league.”

He also added, “Who cares? I look too far into that sometimes. We all look too far into what other people are going to say when you make a decision like that,” Durant said. “But who cares at the end of the day? We’re all just playing basketball. To be honest, I don’t think anybody really goes to sleep thinking about this stuff unless you’re really in it. The real people know that the most important stuff happens on the court.”
